2008 Semi Dry Riesling - Riesling - White

From the same vintage as the Riesling described above but sweeter, with 3% sugar. Pairs well with Asian food, mild cheeses, salads, poultry and pork. Serve chilled in the summer while at the beach or in a boat. Has been called “boat wine”, “Scrabble wine”.

Chafia Cherry - Fruit - Fruit

We couldn’t help but name this wine after what we affectionately refer to as the “Cherry Mafia” of Leelanau County, our good neighbors and friends who do so much to bring us this fine fruit. Chafia Cherry is made from 65% Balaton and 35% Montmorency cherries pressed with the pits for a hint of almond flavor. This wine has not been ameliorated with water, rather the alcohol content has been maintained at 10% with balanced acidity. This International Wine Tasters Guild Gold Medal winner and Silver Medal winner in Michigan State is a true cherry wine with a bright mouth feel and a “not too sweet” taste. Enjoy with appetizers, chocolate, as an after dinner drink or with your favorite ice cream.

Eve - Fruit - Fruit

This is an apple dessert wine made from fresh apples from our neighbor's orchards. With an alcohol content of 18% this wine is meant for sipping between courses, as an after dinner or dessert wine. It was made with the spirit of “Calvados” in mind, which is a French made, apple brandy that is distilled to 40% alcohol.
