Description:
Venteux Vineyards (pronounced “Vin 2”) our ten-acre estate is nestled in the renowned “windy” Tem-pleton Gap, located on the westside of Paso Robles wine country. The founding family, Scott and Bobbi Stelzle purchased the ten-acre barley farm in 2000 and produced the first vintage in 2003. Now with son Jake, and “wine dog” Clover, they run the day-to-day operations of Venteux, a hands-on labor of love. In 2009, the Goldenbergs, Adam, Patricia and son Gibson, joined in the Venteux vision. Together, the two families have one goal: to produce world-class wines, while being good stewards of the land, and making sure to revel in the simple joys of life – our family, friends, and community.
The rolling hill-sides of the property, once known as “Rancho Las Tablas,” host seven planted acres of Rhône varietals that flourish under the diurnal effects of warm days and cool nights. Mul-tiple clones of Syrah and Petite Syrah thrive on 6 acres plus two small blocks of Grenache and Mourvèdre. Our sustainable, dry-farmed, and head-trained vineyard continuously produces low yields with terroir-driven complex fruit, the distinct character behind Venteux Vineyards estate wines.

Details:
This working vineyard estate is a true wine country destina-tion to enjoy with friends and family. The beautiful redwood winery and tower, while looking rather simple and rustic, houses a state-of-the-art winemaking facility. The winery building is also home to the rustically elegant and “green” tasting room. The old “Rancho Las Tablas” sign hangs below the reclaimed barnwood ceiling in respect for the property’s farming history. Our tasting room is open and inviting, with outdoor seating for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine. We make sure that that all our visitors, both human and furry companions, feel like long-time friends. Tasting is available Friday through Sunday and week days by appointment.
Only a quick stroll up the cobbled pathway is the airy wrap-around porch of the owner’s elegant farmhouse. Two bed & breakfast rooms, both with spacious baths, have private entrances from the porch. You will be welcomed with Venteux wine and artisan cheeses. Inside the decor is truly luxurious, with all the comforts of home and more. Hostess Bobbi has prepared the inn with her personal, artful touches. Gourmet breakfast is served each morning using the freshest ingredients. For those seeking extra space and privacy, the Red Barn is the perfect getaway. Please visit our website for availability. We look forward to your stay!
